Privacy Policy

This website is deliberately built lean: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no externally loaded fonts and no contact form.

This privacy policy applies to this website only. Our apps have their own privacy policies: they describe processing different from a visit to these pages, and are linked from within each app and from its App Store or Google Play listing.

There is no statutory obligation to appoint a data protection officer.

2. Visiting this website (server log files)

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically processes data transmitted by your browser, in particular:

Purpose: delivering the website, ensuring stability and operational security, and defending against attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless and secure operation of this website.

Retention: the hosting provider stores this data briefly and deletes it automatically on a regular basis. It is not merged with other data sources, and we do not evaluate it on a personal basis.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The provider processes the data named under section 2 on our behalf, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing in countries outside the European Union — in particular in the United States by Google LLC — cannot be ruled out. Such transfers are based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR and on the provider’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

4. Encryption

This website is served exclusively over a TLS-encrypted connection (recognisable by https:// and the padlock in your browser’s address bar). Data transferred between your device and the server therefore cannot be read by third parties.

5. Cookies, tracking and external content

This website sets no cookies and uses no techniques that store or read information on your device. No analytics, audience-measurement or advertising services are used, and no profiling takes place.

All content — including fonts, stylesheets and images — is served directly from this website. No third-party content is loaded: no Google Fonts, no maps, no videos and no social network buttons. Consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG is therefore not required, and for the same reason there is no cookie banner.

6. Contacting us by email or telephone

We deliberately do not offer a contact form. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide — such as your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message — solely in order to deal with your enquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

Retention: we delete this data once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively, unless statutory retention periods — in particular commercial and tax law periods of six or ten years — require otherwise.

Our mailbox is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Please note that email transmitted over the internet may be unencrypted.

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

An informal message to contact@dgmd-software.de is enough to exercise them.

Right to object

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Right to lodge a complaint

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt, based in Magdeburg.

8. No obligation to provide data

You do not have to provide any personal data simply to view this website. The data named under section 2 arises as a technical necessity of the request. No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy whenever changes to this website or to the legal situation make it necessary.
